PaidPrompt never reads your chats. Here is exactly what it does collect, and why.

Last updated 17 October 2026

PaidPrompt is a browser extension that shows sponsored lines on chatgpt.com, claude.ai and gemini.google.com and pays its users part of the advertising money. This page explains exactly what data that takes.

What we never collect

  • The text of your prompts, the AI's answers, or your chat history. The extension only looks at the page's layout (the Stop button and the box you type in), never at what is written.
  • Your browsing on any other site. The extension only runs on the three chat sites above.
  • Passwords, cookies, or anything from your accounts at OpenAI, Anthropic or Google.

What we collect, and why

DataWhy
Your email addressTo sign you in, and to attach your earnings to you. With "Continue with Google", Google tells us your address and that it is verified; we ask for nothing else from your Google account.
For each sponsored line that counts: which ad, which of the three sites, how long it was on screen, and whenTo pay you, to bill the advertiser, and to enforce the limits (one paid view every 45 seconds, 60 a day).
Clicks on a sponsored lineTo report clicks to the advertiser as a total.
A scrambled form (keyed hash) of your IP address with each view and clickTo spot fraud, such as many accounts on one connection. We do not keep the IP address itself.
Your payouts: the amount, and the Whop claim link made for itTo send you the money. The link is shown only to you, in the extension.

On your own device the extension also stores your sign-in, whether sponsored lines are switched on, and which ads you have seen recently, so the same ad does not repeat. That stays in your browser.

Who sees it

Advertisers only get totals for their campaigns (views and clicks), never anything about you. If you click a sponsored line you go to the advertiser's site, which then has its own privacy policy.

Our data is stored in our own database, on a server we rent and run ourselves. Google handles "Continue with Google". If you sign in with an emailed code instead, an email delivery service gets your address only to deliver it. Whop gets the amount of each payout, and you collect it with your own Whop account, under Whop's privacy policy. We do not sell data, and we do not use it for anything other than running PaidPrompt.

Information from Google

PaidPrompt's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs will adhere to theChrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. From your Google account we receive only your email address and whether Google has verified it, and use it only to sign you in.

How long we keep it

View and click records are kept while your account exists, and for up to 2 years after the last payout they relate to, because we need them for payments, advertiser billing and fraud review.

Your choices

  • Pause sponsored lines from the extension's button at any time.
  • To see your data or delete your account, email hello@paidprompt.online from the address you signed in with. We reply within 30 days.

Children

PaidPrompt is for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly have accounts for children; if you believe a child has signed up, tell us and we will delete the account.

Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will say so in the extension before the change applies.
